Balancing

Balancing a shot means bringing it to a correct, neutral baseline — right exposure, neutral color, sensible contrast and saturation — before any creative look. It’s done as one repeatable order (exposure → contrast → white balance → saturation), each step verified on the scopes. Reliably balancing any shot is the Level 1 gate and the foundation of everything above it.
