LogC3 / LogC4

LogC is ARRI’s log transfer function. LogC3 is on the classic Alexa / Amira cameras; LogC4 arrived with the Alexa 35 and carries an even wider range. Each pairs with an ARRI Wide Gamut gamut (Wide Gamut 3 for LogC3, Wide Gamut 4 for LogC4). Identify which generation your footage is before normalizing — feeding LogC4 into a LogC3 input, or vice versa, shifts the image.
