Pre-clip / post-clip

Pre-clip and post-clip are the two stages of a group grade, defined by Resolve’s order of operations. Pre-clip nodes run before each clip’s individual grade — ideal for a shared primary correction or normalization that per-clip work then sits on top of. Post-clip nodes run after — ideal for a creative look applied over the whole group as a final layer. Rule of thumb: pre-clip makes shots start the same, post-clip makes them end the same.
