ACES

ACES (Academy Color Encoding System) is an industry-standard color management framework. Every source is mapped into a common ACES color space by an input transform (IDT), you grade in a working space such as ACEScct, and one output transform (ODT) maps the result to your target display. It’s scene-referred and camera-agnostic, which is why it’s favored for multi-vendor collaboration and broad interchange. In Resolve it’s one of the two main routes to color management, alongside RCM.
