IDT / ODT

In an ACES pipeline, the IDT (Input Device Transform) maps each source into ACES from its camera color space — the ACES equivalent of naming a clip’s log-and-gamut pair. The ODT (Output Device Transform) maps the graded result out to your target display (Rec.709 SDR, a P3 HDR spec, and so on). Change the ODT and you retarget the whole project to a different display with one setting — the payoff of a managed pipeline.
