Shared node

A shared node is a single node instance that can appear in multiple grades at once; adjust it in any one place and every appearance updates together. It’s the “fix once, apply everywhere” tool for a correction that must stay identical across shots — a matching window-and-key on every product shot, say. It’s related to but distinct from remote versus local versions: a remote version shares a whole grade across clips, while a shared node shares a single node.
