sRGB
sRGB is the default color space of computers, the web, and most office monitors. Its gamut is essentially the same as Rec.709, but its transfer function is close to gamma 2.2 rather than Rec.709’s 2.4 — a small difference that mostly shows in the shadows and matters when you choose a calibration target (see 2.12). Think of sRGB as “Rec.709 for bright-room computer viewing.”
